What we need: your Telegram User ID
A numeric ID. It looks like this:

Open Telegram and search for the bot
Open the Telegram app on your phone, or go to web.telegram.org on a computer. Tap the search bar at the top and type @userinfobot.
Make sure you include the @ symbol. Spelling must be exact.

Open the bot from the results. At the bottom of the chat, tap the START button. If you don't see it, type /start and send it.
You only have to do this once. The bot replies instantly.
